Talking about travelling around the country visiting Bus Museums–I came across this bus token from Hawaii! Oh, wouldn’t we love to spend the summer in Hawaii!

In 1951, the Honolulu Rapid Transit Company produced bus tokens with a hula girl on both sides. So many tourists took them for souvenirs, that the company never used a hula girl design again! This is one of those tokens. It measures 7/8 inch in diameter, and is in mint, uncirculated condition. Dated 1951
