Along with Willie Fordham, we have had the pleasure of having Mr. James “Jim” Weedon visit our exhibit. He was a right fielder for the Harrisburg Giants for two seasons (1954, 1955). He also played under Negro Legend, Spottswood Poles, in a 1953 barnstorm tour. In 1954, the Harrisburg Giants beat out the Pittsburgh Crawfords for the Doc Marshall Troply emblematic of the Eastern Negro League Crown.
